This common core toolkit website for parents was created by the Oregon Department of Education, and contains answers to many frequently asked questions regarding the common core. There are also links to resources that parents can use to help their child be successful in the transition to common core.
The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics has developed a page of resources for parents in regards to math help at home. There are also links to information about how math has changed over the past few years, and how parents can support their student.
The following Math Parent Roadmap links offer support for parents that are specific to their child’s grade level. The roadmap also shows how the math their child is currently learning lines up with the grade they most recently completed and the grade they will enter next year.
